"Not Fade Away"

What I describe as "an anti-romantic jukebox musical". A tale which sees the world from two different versions of perceived reality: one contemporary, one themed after 1950s musicals. There is no spoken dialogue in this piece; the narrative is told entirely through the lyrics of Buddy Holly songs. A cautionary tale on how those who live in the past prescribe themselves to a bitter life, its those who move on with their lives that are the real winners.
